To all EVI Clients:

I am excited to announce that Singer Equipment has acquired EVI. Singer is a 101-year-old business that is led by the third generation of the family. In getting to know Fred Singer and his team I have been struck by the similarities in our values and goals. I am excited about our growth opportunities with Singer and have signed a long-term contract to stay on as President of the company, reporting directly to Fred Singer, the owner and CEO. The entire EVI team will remain in place, so you can expect the same personal relationships to continue.

Singer is currently the sixth largest dealer in the United States. The acquisition gives our company increased resources and local presence throughout the mid-Atlantic region as well as South Florida. Singer now has over 600 employees, 350,000 square feet of warehousing, and a fleet of over 60 trucks in the mid-Atlantic market. All these resources allow us to be even more responsive to you. Singer also provides a complete offering of foodservice disposables, kitchen supplies, tabletop items and janitorial supplies.

I look forward to introducing you to their distribution offering. I know it will only enhance our relationship and our ability to be a more complete solution to you. Our entire EVI team is excited to leverage the experience and resources that Singer offers to push through the existing boundaries of what our relationships currently look like. We are excited to become the partner that our clients require to succeed and thrive in the future.
